Documobile Using BlueStacks

Documobile and your offline part catalogs are now available on your PC or laptop via BlueStacks, an easy to install 3rd party tool. There’s a free option and a $2/month option.

Downloading BlueStacks

  1. Ensure your media is set up for offline visibility. See the this brief support article to walk you through the Documoto steps: Enable Media for Offline Viewing in Documobile
  2. From The BlueStacks Homepage click on the “download” link; next follow the three steps on your screen to install the software. You will see a progress screens like this:

  1. Double-click the ‘BlueStacks-ThinInstaller.exe' file and follow the install prompts to enable BlueStacks on your PC
  1. When BlueStacks starts up, click the ‘Search’ icon to find and install Documobile on your PC (via the App Store)
  1. Log in with your personal Google email account and password (again, the download portion takes some time)
  2. Open Documobile with your account name and password and select a server


Using BlueStacks with Documobile

Select a parts catalog/page or document in Documoto and add it to your offline shelf (click the share icon) then select ‘Take Media Offline’:

These items are now available for offline viewing on your PC or laptop anytime.
